Is an ancient form of alternative medicine based on the belief that health problems arise from stagnant blood and poor energy. Silicone or vacuum cups are applied to the skin to create negative pressure, usually used in conjunction with another therapy, such as Massage. The suction loosens and lifts the tissues, bringing a rush of new blood to the area. Static or dynamic application by a Practitioner is used to help alleviate adhesions, inflammation, pain and movement restrictions in a localized area. Cupping can leave “bruise type” marks that can last a few days. This therapy can be included in any Massage Therapy session you book.
